Through continually investing in the latest machinery and training highly-skilled operators, we are proud to operate one of most modern and well equipped tool rooms in the UK.
Computer aided manufacture (CAM) and design (CAD) is a vital and integral part of all our manufacturing process. Data from our CAD design process is of the highest integrity and utilised to provide an uninterrupted output to all our Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine tools. We also use CNC Turning and Electrical Discharge Machinery (EDM).
At Paragon Toolmaking we constantly monitor and utilise the latest developments in cutting tool technology, ensuring we are able to achieve the fastest metal removal rates and exact levels of accuracy.
The largest of our CNC milling centres has a huge machining envelope of 3.4m x 2.5m x 800mm. Along with two other gantry machines we are able to cope with very large die sets and plates. A range of four smaller high speed Mikron milling centres provide capacity for full 3D profiling and smaller part production.

Every successful project starts with a clear brief. Once it’s fully understood by our toolmaking experts, we analyse the form and function. From this we develop the initial tooling concept ready to allow us to address every critical feature.
Design & Modelling
After agreeing any adjustments or modifications, we begin to create the final approved working 3D design – detailing every feature required to efficiently and confidently enter the manufacturing process.
Assembly & Production
Using the latest 3D manufacturing techniques we produce the high accuracy components required. Following accurate assembly the tools tested to ensure the required specification is achieved.
