Paragon success recognised at 2021 Business Insider ‘Made in Yorkshire’ Awards

Paragon Toolmaking are delighted to have been shortlisted in two categories at the 2021 Business Insider ‘Made in Yorkshire’ Awards.

The prestigious manufacturing event ‘celebrates world-class companies based in Yorkshire and the Humber and the products they are making here and selling across the world’.

We have been shortlisted in the Manufacturing Apprenticeship / Training Scheme Award, which recognises employers furthering the cause of apprenticeships and general training and upskilling of its staff.

Our apprentice Jay Malone has also been shortlisted in the Apprentice of the Year category, which recognises individuals who have made excellent contributions to their employer and shows potential for the future.

The awards, which have been judged by professionals in their field who were carefully selected based on their individual experience in sectors relevant to categories, will be held on Thursday, July 29th at the Hilton Hotel, Leeds.

Kevin Batty, General Manager at Paragon Toolmaking, said: “We are delighted to be shortlisted in two categories at this prestigious event which flies the flag for successful Yorkshire manufacturers.

“It is great recognition for the work that we do here at Paragon Toolmaking. The event has become the biggest of its type for recognising manufacturers’ excellence across Yorkshire and the Humber so it will be great to see our name held up alongside other leading businesses across the region.”
